Every day, the Morning Call publishes obituaries for the towns in its coverage area. These are short, factual summaries of the life of a deceased person. • Judith J. Tobin, age 95, of Allentown died on July 25th. She was the founder and owner of Tobin’s Florist on Hamilton Street for over 60 years and an active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
• Edwin G. Amaro, age 76, of Bethlehem died on July 28th after a brief battle with cancer. Mr. Amaro was a long-time employee at Bethlehem Steel Corp., where he retired as a plant manager in 1998. He also served on the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Authority Board of Directors and was a past president of the Bethlehem chapter of the National Italian American Foundation.
