Beignets can be enjoyed any time of day, but they’re especially delicious for breakfast. Head to one of the city’s many iconic cafes, like Cafe du Monde, to try them for yourself!
5. Attending Jazz Fest
New Orleans is known for its music, and Jazz Fest is one of the highlights of the year. If you’re a fan of jazz or just want to experience something truly unique, add Jazz Fest to your list.
Held in late April/early May, Jazz Fest features some of the biggest names in jazz, as well as up-and-coming artists. There’s also food from some of the best restaurants and plenty of opportunities to people-watch. Attending Jazz Fest is an experience you won’t soon forget.
